Simple-y delicious roasted green beans…

These fresh green beans are packed with vitamins and iron and are so simple to make, you’ll want to eat them everyday!  My oldest son eats them like they’re french fries, they’re his favorite!

Here’s the recipe:

– 1 bunch fresh green beans (washed, not snapped, and stems cut off)

– Canola oil

– Sea or Kosher salt

– Fresh cracked pepper

– Garlic powder

Here’s what you do:

Pre-heat oven to 450. 

Thinly and evenly distribute canola oil on washed green beans.  Evenly season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.  Lay out evenly onto a baking pan (line pan with foil for easy clean up!).  Roast in oven for 10-12 minutes.  Check on color of beans at 8 minutes- beans should be a bright vibrant green color.  This ensures the nutrients are still in tact.
